Recording of general information when you visit our website

Type and purpose of processing:

When you access our website, ie should you not register or otherwise transfer information, information of a general nature is automatically recorded. This information (server logfiles) includes the type of web browser, the operating system used, the domain name of your Internet service provider, your IP address and similar. This is only information which does not allow your person to be traced.

It will be processed for the following purposes in particular:

  • Ensuring a problem-free connection establishment of the website
  • Ensuring seamless use of our website
  • Evaluation of system security and stability and
  • For additional administrative purposes.

We will not use your data in order to trace you as a person. Such information may be evaluated by us statistically in order to optimise our Internet presence and the underlying technology.

The processing takes place in accordance with Article 6 Paragraph 1 Letter f) GDPR on the basis of our legitimate interest in improving the stability and functionality of our website.

Recipients:

The recipients of the data may be technical service providers who operate and maintain our website as order processors.

Duration of the saving of data:

The data will be deleted, once it is no longer necessary for the purpose for which it was gathered. For the data whose purpose is the provision of the website, this is generally the case once the respective session has come to an end.

Provision mandated or necessary:

The provision of the personal data referred to above is not mandatory either by law or under the contract. However, without the IP address, the service and functionality of our website cannot be guaranteed. In addition, individual services may not be available or may be restricted. For this reason, it is not possible to object.

Use of Google Maps

Type and purpose of processing:

We use the service of Google Maps on this website. Google Maps is operated by Google LLC, 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA (hereinafter referred to as “Google”). By means of Google Maps, we can display interactive maps directly in the website and you are able to comfortably use the map function.

Legal basis:

The legal basis for the inclusion of Google Maps and the associated data transfer to Google is your consent (Article 6 Paragraph 1 Letter a) GDPR).

Recipients:

By means of your visit to the website, Google is informed that you have accessed the relevant subpage of our website. This takes place regardless of whether Google provides a user account via which you are logged in or whether no user account is present. Should you be logged in to Google, your data will be assigned directly to your account.

Should you not wish for the data to be assigned to your Google account, you need to log out of Google before activating the button. Google saves your data as usage profiles and uses these for advertising or market research purposes and/or tailoring its website to user requirements. Such an evaluation takes place in particular (even for users who are not logged in) in order to provide advertising which is tailored to requirements and in order to inform other users of the social network of your activities on our website. You have the right to object to the formation of these user profiles, whereby you need to contact Google directly in order to do so.

Duration of the saving of data:

We do not gather any personal data by means of the integration of Google Maps.

Third country transfer:

Google processes your personal data in the USA and has agreed to abide by the EU-US Privacy Shield https://www.privacyshield.gov/EU-US-Framework.

Revocation of consent:

Should you not wish for Google to gather, process or use data relating to you via our Internet presence, you can de-activate JavaScript in your browser settings. In such a case, you may not be able to use our website or may only be able to use it with restrictions.

Provision mandated or necessary:

The provision of your personal data takes place voluntarily, solely on the basis of your consent. Should you prevent the access, functional restrictions to the website may occur.

Changes to our data protection provisions

We reserve the right to adjust this data protection declaration, so that it always corresponds to the current legal requirements or in order to implement changes to our services in the data protection declaration, for example when new services are introduced. The new data protection declaration will then apply next time you visit.
